Payments

1. Deposit: $150 at checkout to reserve your jacket.
   
2. 2nd Payment: $150 charged 14 days after order placement. Cancel before day 14 to avoid it.
   
3. Final Balance: Billed via invoice when your jacket is complete; paid before shipping.
   

Most jackets range $300–$750+ depending on what you want. Orders may be abandoned if customer is unresponsive from deposit through day 20; all payments are non-refundable.

✅ FULL CUSTOM REQUEST & DEPOSIT POLICY

1. Deposit Requirement

A non-refundable $150 deposit is required to begin any custom jacket order.
This deposit is applied toward your final total as long as the order is completed and not abandoned.

This deposit does not represent the full jacket price. Final totals vary based on artwork complexity, materials, labor, and add-ons.

2. 3-Stage Payment Structure

All custom orders use the following payment schedule:

Step 1 — Deposit ($150 at Checkout)

• Paid immediately to reserve your spot

• Begins your custom order process

Step 2 — Automatic Second Payment ($150, 14 Days After Order Placement)

• The 2nd payment is automatically charged 14 days after order placement using the original payment method.

• This charge occurs regardless of customer responsiveness, unless the customer explicitly cancels their custom request via email to inquire@thunderstompthreadz.com before the 14-day mark.

Step 3 — Final Balance (Manual Invoice Before Shipping)

• Once your jacket is complete, the remaining balance will be invoiced through Shopify.

• The jacket ships only after the final balance is paid.

3. Final Pricing

Approximate price range is determined after your Custom Request Form is submitted, and we have discussed your vision, as each design is unique.
Factors influencing total cost:

• Level of detail in design

• Stitching density

• Materials and add-ons

• Labor complexity

Most custom jackets range from $300–$750+.
Your $150 deposit and $150 2nd payment are always credited toward the final total unless the order is abandoned.

4. Payment Options for the Final Balance

• Your final balance is collected through a manual invoice via email before shipping.

• Shop Pay Installments interest-free payments may be requested for the final invoice. Approval is not guaranteed and must be requested before your jacket is completed.

If approved:

• A Shopify invoice will be sent for the final balance

• You may choose Shop Pay Installments at checkout

• If the invoice is paid, no further charges are applied to your original card

• If the invoice is not paid within the arranged timeframe, the order may be treated as abandoned, and prior payments are forfeited

5. Rush Order Fee

Rush orders may be available depending on scheduling.
A Rush Fee may be added to your final balance if expedited production is requested.

6. Custom Request Form Requirement

You must complete the Custom Request Form before paying your deposit.
This form allows you to describe your concept, upload reference images, begin our communication, and receive an approximate price range after deposit payment.

7. Unresponsive and Abandoned Orders

Definition of Unresponsive

A customer is considered unresponsive if they fail to:

• Respond to communications regarding design approvals, payment notifications, or requested information

• Provide required details or references needed to move the project forward

for 15 calendar days.

Definition of Abandoned

An order is considered abandoned if:

• The customer is unresponsive from deposit through the 2nd payment and up to day 20

• Required steps to complete the project are not fulfilled

Consequences of Abandonment:

• The $150 deposit and automatic $150 2nd payment are non-refundable and forfeited

• The order is permanently closed

• Any artwork, materials, or concepts may be repurposed, resold, or used as a studio sample

Abandoned orders protect production time and prevent unfinished projects from lingering indefinitely.

8. Cancellations

• Customers may cancel a custom request before the 14-day mark.

• If cancelled before day 14:

  • The 2nd payment will not be charged

  • The $150 deposit is still non-refundable

• Day 14 and after, cancellation is treated as unresponsiveness/abandonment, and prior payments are forfeited.

9. Final Payment & Order Completion

When your Custom is finished:

1. You will receive a photo for approval

2. A Shopify invoice will be sent for your final balance

3. Your jacket ships only after payment is received

Failed Final Payment

If final payment fails or is not completed:

• You have 48 hours to update your payment method

• If payment is not received within 48 hours, the order is treated as abandoned

• All prior payments (deposit + 2nd payment) are forfeited

• The completed jacket may be resold, repurposed, or used as a studio sample

Note: Any designs created by ThunderStomp Threadz are property of ThunderStomp Threadz. Designs made as Custom Requests are available to be purchased to stay exclusive to the original customer. The fee for exclusive ownership of a ThunderStomp Threadz embroidered design is $150 that will be added to the sale price. If this fee is not paid, the Custom is eligible to be replicated and sold to any other customers at any point in time under the terms of ThunderStomp Threadz.
